Kites we have bought and sold (listed in order of
purchase) Nick (14stone - buggier) Jo (9stone beginner wants
to jump and scud). The initial in the box indicates who used
the kite most.
Of course the better thing to do is to try before you
buy, most kites shops do these sessions now. Have a clear
mind about what you want to do with the kite and the strength
of winds you will fly in.
We have learnt alot by owning this variety of kites and have
managed to sell each kite for somewhere between a £50
- £20 loss on each one, which isn't bad considering
the amount of fun we had owning and flying them

Wipika LTR 5m |
Our first kite, we thought we would go for a water
launchable kite, thinking that we would kitesurf and body drag,
and that the kite would also be fine for learning scudding and
buggying! Rather an ambitious plan. We found the kite was
quite slow to fly, although we did learn how to scud. J/N
|
Sept 2002 sold because we decided that buggying
was our prime interest and wanted a foil |
| Dec 2001 |
Symphony 1.4 |
We bought this as a fun kite whilst holidaying
in Tarifa (Spain) where the wind was fierce. J/N |
Dec 2002, gave the kite to our 5year old nephew |
| June 2002 |
Firebee 3m |
Bought because of price and reviews to use with
a buggy. Turns out to be value for money, but not a tremedously
stable kite, luffs alot at the edge of the window. N |
Nov 2002, sold to upgrade to an Ozone Razor |
| Aug 2002 |
Firebee 2m |
A budget buy for Jo, as the 3m is to powerful.
Turns out to be quite a slow kite and quite cumbersome to
fly. J |
Nov 2002, sold to get a good 2nd hand price whilst
the kite was in good condition and the current model |
| Sept 2002 |
Symphony 1.8 |
A fun small learner kite, fun in high winds (ie
winter) is very fast and responsive. Not enough power to
scud with. Will need something more powerful for lighter summer
winds. J |

Ozone Little Devil 1.5m |
New kite for Jo, a kite with more pull than the
Symphony. Great kite, immensely stable |
sold, used money to buy 2.1LD
|
| Jan 2003 |
Flexifoil Blade 2, 2m |
Another kite for Jo, with a bit more power than
the LD. Jo wants to jump!! Bought 2nd hand. |
Sold, replaced it with 2m Buster, abit more
stable kite
|
| April 2003 |
Ozone Little Devil 2.1m |
The 1.5LD was abit to small, but since it is such
a great kite, we bought the next size up. This kite is the DB! |
Sold it!, decided the LDs need to be flown
in high wind. This kite is quite heavy so not that good for
a girlie in 10mph
|
| July 2003 |
PKD Buster 1.4 |
The LD is still to large for winds 15+mph, hence
a smaller kite J |
-
|
| Oct 2003 |

with the buggy |

Fun buy, supposed to be a good buggy engine. Since
it is single skin we will use it in the water in the summer
Bought 2nd hand. |
Didn't really get on with this kite, needs
2 people (kite monkey to help relauch)
|
| June 2004 |
